Vision Statement 2000

UMET’s Library is proud to provide to it’s patrons a valuable collection of printed, audiovisual and electronic resources, which will complement classroom learning experiences, will provide information (data) related to academic and technical needs or to meet a particular personal interest.

A group of competent librarians is always waiting to help you succeed in your academic experience.  Our actual facilities include service and sitting areas for individual or study groups and for people with special needs.  In a near future our services will be rendered in our modern and comfortable facilities, at the second floor of the Jesús T. Piñero Building.

Through the Public Online Catalog you will be able to access a numerous collection of information resources, available in UMET as well as in UNE and UT.  A highly standard telecommunication infrastructure provides access to the Internet as well as to other specialized databases.

Our aim is to offer a quality service and to serve as support agents complying with all your information needs.
